EASTER PARTY IN SPITE OF SNOW!!!!

So, we did have an Easter party at my (Marilyn's) house. It was yesterday. Randy went and got Ma on Friday and brought her down to his house. Then when I got done at the Salt Lake Temple, I went and got Mom. Randy's family and Mom and I went to the Village Inn for dinner and then we headed out! Anna decided to come along and help me get ready for the party. As you know, we've been having wet weather and yesterday was no exception! It snowed, however, it didn't stick and the eggs and Easter baskets were picked up BEFORE the bad weather came in!
The party goers were: Rae Ann & Brent, BJ, Char & William, Sara and three of her kids, Mary & Craig, Doug & Candis, Kyle & Angie and kids, Chace & Shareesa and Baylor, Randy, Leisa, Anna Gavan, Me, and Tam and Mom.
We had a grand time, but those of you who didn't come were missed and hopefully will be able to join us in our next GET TOGETHER!
I am posting some photos of the party, but I'm also going to post one of the snow we're still receiving. It has been an exceptionally wet winter and spring and there is a lot of talk about flooding.
Mom is doing well and is able to get around very well with her walker. I don't know if everyone knows, but she's been losing teeth over the last year until now she has only three teeth on the top and 4 or 5 teeth on the bottom. In August, a dental specialist is going to take all of her remaining teeth out and then her regular dentist, Dr. Thornley, is going to put in dentures. The whole process will probably take 2 to 3 months.
Rae Ann is on the mend. She is the one that prompted this blog. About a month ago she fell and cracked some ribs and punctured her lung and it has been a very painful, slow recovery, but yesterday she said she felt so much better! She still has to be careful moving.
Anna, Randy and Leisa's oldest daughter, just received her Young Women's Award last Sunday. They had a recognition meeting for her and presented her medallion and certificate to her. She is learning to drive and this weekend she practiced up here.  She's becoming better with each time she gets behind the wheel. It's fun to have her drive me around!

Well that's about all of the news! Hope everyone is well! Tamara, you said you could lend me some photos that were better than the one I posted. Would you email them to me? I appreciate it! Until next time: Mind your P's and Q's and keep your socks up!

#1

OK my dears! After a certain someone spent a few days in the hospital and nobody knew it, I feel we need to keep in touch better! I’m not so sure this will work, but we’ll see! So, my main objective is to keep the family informed, as much as possible, as to what exactly is going on.
For example, next Saturday we’re going to have an Easter/spring get together and I hope that there won’t be six feet of snow on the ground! I wish the whole family could come, but I’ll include pictures so that you can see what we did!
I’ll try to post at least once a week or so and we’ll see how it goes from there!
