HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!!

I've just taken the time to look at Doug and Candis' and Neil and Tamara's blogs! I loved them! Pictures galore! It seems like Memorial Day was a hit everywhere and that Zion is definitely growing! It boggles my mind how big Baylor Madeleine and Thair are getting! The pics of Doug and Candis' grandkids are so cute! I just remembered that with the birth of Tobin and Allison's newest, Mom will have more great grandkids than grandchildren. She has 17 grandchildren and as of October we'll welcome the newest McMurdie into the gang!
I went up to visit Mom yesterday! We had a good visit and we also took a drive up to Logan Canyon to the bridge at the top of the road to the canyon. It looked like about 3 or 4 cabins above us the water was spilling over the bank and that there was flooding going on. We didn't go down to the cabin because I'm too dumb to work the lock. Oh well.
Lance Tilley called me the other day and said that the Wadsworth reunion wouldn't be on the last Saturday in June because since they were in charge and no one was able to make it then, they'd reschedule. I don't know when, but I'll post it when I get an announcement!
I don't know of anything new and exciting in the family! We seem to be plodding along and trying to get through each day as well as possible! Happy Father's Day to you all! When you think about it---we've got some pretty amazing fathers in our family. Here are 4 of them:

Summer!

Well, we have not snow and it hasn't snowed for a little over a week, so I am officially declaring that winter is over and SUMMER IS HERE! The trees in our front yard are all out in bloom and they smell fantastic, however, too much of it makes my non-allergies kick up!
There isn't much news that I know of. It seems like everyone in the family is doing well. Rae Ann went up yesterday to be with Mom. They had a great time. Mom is enjoying being out of doors now and taking long walks! Rae Ann said that everyone in her family is doing well.
Paige, Doug and Candis' youngest, has a babysitting job for the summer. It's sort of neat because it's for the same family that Janalyn babysat for. Paige is going to start attending USU this fall. She has a couple of scholarships and is going to major in music!
Randy and Leisa took Anna and Gavan out for a celebration dinner at the Spaggetti Factory last night. They were celebrating Anna's being on the honor roll. They went to the one at Trolley Square. He said that they had a good time!
Well, my dears----I'll close and include a few photos that Candis sent me! They're really cute! Be good and keep your socks up!

These two cuties are Julia Marie and Emma---Kyle and Angie's two girls!

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND 2011

Well, we took care of the family graves. Randy and Leisa and the kids and I went down to Payson Cemetery on the Thursday before Memorial Day and placed flowers on family graves. I have been doing a bit of geneology lately and did you know that a lot of our ancestors received their endowments in Nauvoo. I think that is so awesome that they even probably knew the Prophet Joseph!
Monday, Memorial Day, Mom, me, Randy and Leisa and the kids took flowers around the valley. When we got to the Logan Cemetery, Tammy Rose and her family, Rick Rose and his family and Don and Jean Keaton were there. We just missed Donna Wadsworth, and evidently she's remarried. It was so good to visit and then Shelley McMurdie and her friends showed up. It was so great to see her for a minute. She said that after her tonsil surgery in Jan. that she got a staph infection which turned into Mursia (I'm not sure how you spell it) but it's an infection that does not respond to ANY antibiotics!!!! Sort of the same thing John Andrew had. Anyway, she said she's had a devil of a time getting rid of it. She also said that Shaun McMurdie, her twin, had lost his job at BYU and still hadn't found anything. So everyone pray for them. She said it was because of the politics of BYU, and having been in a similar situation I can empathize with him!!!
I am including some photos of Memorial Day and then a video of mom! She's doing great!
Hope all is well with everyone! Keep your socks up and mind your P's and Q's. I tried to upload some photos but they said they couldn't because they were working on their server, so I'll do it later!!!!
